Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which are widely loved. Her name was also recognized from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming fascinated by its music. Parents May-Britt along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a career or hobby but as a way to develop. The Aksnes family inspired her to write. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork for being among her inspirations. Her mother had told her the songs she wrote might not gain fame for her but instead to inspire individuals to recognize the importance of their work and influence to this world, she began playing them on stage. She began playing the piano at age six and writing music at age nine. The family members didn't know about her musical journey until she was fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her goal. Aurora claims she loves composing music. According to her music, it is the best way to express anything.
